Terms of Service
1. About Us
Surgeon Shortlist ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name of Vibrant Consulting Ltd, a private company incorporated in Ireland (Company No. 718751). We operate at surgeonshortlist.com and provide credential-based surgeon research reports to individuals researching plastic and reconstructive surgery.

2. What We Provide
Surgeon Shortlist is an independent research and information service. When you purchase a report, we compile a personalised shortlist of surgeons whose academic qualifications, training, specialist credentials, hospital affiliations, teaching appointments, and peer recognition match the procedure and preferences you have outlined in your intake questionnaire.
Important: Surgeon Shortlist is not a medical service, a referral service, or a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Nothing in your report constitutes a recommendation to undergo surgery or to consult any particular surgeon. All clinical decisions remain entirely your own, made in consultation with a qualified medical professional.
We do not have commercial relationships with any surgeon we include in a report. Surgeons cannot pay to appear in, or be excluded from, our shortlists. Our research is independent and based solely on publicly verifiable credential data.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our service and purchase a report. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Our service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not purchase reports for resale, redistribution, or commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
4. Your Report
What your report includes
Each report is prepared on an individual basis in response to your intake questionnaire. Your report will include a shortlist of surgeons whose credentials are relevant to your stated procedure and location preferences, together with credential summaries drawn from publicly available and verifiable sources. The depth and scope of each report may vary depending on the procedure type, geographic market, and availability of verifiable credential data.
Delivery
Reports are delivered digitally to the email address provided in your intake form. We aim to deliver all reports within 5 business days of receiving your completed intake questionnaire and confirmed payment. If we anticipate a delay, we will notify you by email.
Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care to ensure that all credential information included in your report is accurate and drawn from verifiable sources at the time of preparation. However, surgeon credentials, hospital affiliations, and registration status can change. We make no warranty that all information will remain current after the date of delivery. You should independently verify any surgeon's registration status with the relevant regulatory body before proceeding with a consultation.
5. Pricing and Payment
The current price for a standard Surgeon Shortlist report is USD $99 (or local currency equivalent at the time of checkout). All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your card will be charged at the time you submit your order. We do not store your payment card details.
Prices are subject to change. The price displayed at the time you place your order is the price you will be charged.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellations within 24 hours
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if you request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase, provided your report has not yet been delivered. To cancel, email hello@surgeonshortlist.com with your order details. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
After delivery
Once your report has been delivered to your nominated email address, no refund will be issued. Because each report is a custom research deliverable prepared specifically for you, it cannot be returned or resold once delivered.
If we cannot complete your report
In the rare circumstance where we are unable to prepare a report for your stated procedure or location — for example, where insufficient verifiable credential data exists — we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including rights that cannot be excluded or modified by contract.
7. Consumer Rights by Market
We operate globally and respect consumer protection laws in every market we serve. The following summarises your key statutory rights by jurisdiction — these rights exist independently of and are not limited by these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property
Your report is prepared for your personal use only. All content, methodology, formatting, and intellectual property in your report remains the property of Vibrant Consulting Ltd. You may not reproduce, publish, redistribute, or resell any part of your report without our prior written consent.
All content on surgeonshortlist.com — including text, design, logos, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Vibrant Consulting Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vibrant Consulting Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any clinical or medical outcome arising from a consultation with, or procedure performed by, any surgeon listed in your report
- Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information in your report without independent verification
- Any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss arising from your use of our service
- Any changes to a surgeon's credentials, registration, or practice status occurring after your report was delivered
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that report (USD $99). This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Not Medical Advice
Your report is an independent research document. It is not a medical opinion, a clinical referral, or a recommendation to undergo any surgical procedure. Surgeon Shortlist does not assess your suitability for surgery. You must consult a qualified medical practitioner before making any decision about surgical treatment.
By purchasing a report, you confirm that you understand and accept this limitation.
11. Third-Party Links and Information
Our website and reports may reference third-party websites, regulatory bodies, or professional organisations. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party resource. References to external sources are provided for information only and do not constitute endorsement.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our service or website to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your intake questionnaire
- Attempt to gain access to systems, data, or accounts that are not your own
- Scrape, copy, or extract data from our website by automated means
- Use our service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit your report or any part of our service
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our service will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under the laws of your country of residence.
We are committed to resolving disputes fairly. If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@surgeonshortlist.com and we will do our best to resolve it promptly and informally before any formal process is initiated.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of our service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Terms in force at the time you place your order govern that order.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
